Pursuing research endeavours at a young age can appear daunting for many individuals. When posed with the question, many ask "Well, how can I get started on a project anyway?" With the vast amount of resources and statistical software already out there, it can be difficult to distill information that is neccesary for successfully carrying out a research project. In addition, HS research classes can tend to prioritize the completion aspect of research when in fact, high-quality research often takes time and effort before the desired results are achieved. 

The VAI intends to spearhead its brand-new Youth Research Program with the goal of promoting high-quality high school medical research and increasing research opportunities for individuals of all skill levels. At the VAI, we believe that with the right tools and the right mindset, any individual can conduct research in the field that they are interested in.
